What is it about spring that always makes me want to change things up? We have made a lot of changes already; some that needed to be done and others that I am just hoping for the best. We moved ourselves into a new apartment that is bigger so that Jack can have his own room. We've been here almost a month and I love it! Granted I am not unpacked yet still have a log way to go for that. But I get to decorate a baby room and I am looking forward to decorating our other rooms as well. We didn't do that in our last apartment.
I will say the hardest part about being here is trying to decide where things go! Oh and trying to get furniture in the house. We purchased a couch just to find out that it didn't fit through the door and make the turn into the next room! So back to the furniture store we go lol. Ended up having to buy a loveseat instead of a couch... first night with the loveseat and we know that we need to get something else for seating also... Two adults and a six year old just don't fit onto a loveseat unless we are going to become a very very close family. Plus the baby was just laying on the floor in his little floor gym starig up at us... don't want to think about trying to fit wiggly stinky boy up there too!
So here I sit on the floor again until I get myself back to the furniture store to look around some more. I will say that I love love love it though it's a chocolate brown and wonderful! plus that dark color I am sure will come in handy as Jack gets older.
My next decorating project is Jack's room. I have so many ideas! I am going to have fun with it. I wasn't able to do a nursery for Max so Jacks room is going to be fun. Im seeing frogs and turtles and browns blues and tans :) I do have to get some storage going on in there though. Ahhhhh the job never ends but at least it is fun.
I also started a new job, which has been interesting. Leavig my comfort zone of neuro has been a little challenging for me but I think it was the right move. I will be able to be home more with my family plus it is a brand new experiece with different patient populations so more oppurtunity to learn. I do want to go back to school also hopefully I can start that this summer.
